Greatful- I could have written this!! I am two years out from GB and will still say that this is the best thing that I have done for myself. I am 100 pounds lighter, and am maintaining within a 5 pound limit. I too had issues with alcohol before surgery, but certainly afterwards, It is compounded. I replaced my good friend food, with my good friend wine!!

I am now in recovery, and attending AA meetings. Only 5 days sober, but with the help of AA and my higher power, I will do it.
