I would consult your physician because your dosage may be too high. (NOT a licensed medical opinion) I know one of the noted side effects could be hallucinations...though I don't know the prevelance and/or severity of the occurance. I know starting dosage 'should' be ~1.5mg per day (.5mg 3x day) with a suggested maximum dose of 20mg, per the manufacturer. Klonopin (Clonazepam) is in the benzodiazepine family, and is a CNS depressor that inhibits the neurotransmitter gamma aminobutyricacid (GABA). This pretty much means that the medication allows the GABA to stay in your system longer...which 'takes the edge off'. In general, it is similar to how seratonin can be inhibited to allow a longer lasting effect before it is reabsorbed into your body. Hallucinations are not suprising when you consider that MDMA works in a similar fashion...though with seratonin and not GABA.
Bottom line....talk to your physician and see what they suggest.
Also, please be careful with your alcohol intake because that can have a greater effect on you if you are taking the medication. Off hand I'm not sure if there are any other restrictions, but I KNOW alcohol is not recommended...at least until you stabilze on your dosage.
