Liveweyerd and the rest are right from what I know about it.

I took it to quit smoking and to help with depression, but after 4 weeks it wasn't working so i quit taking it. I didn't know that it took 4-6 to kick in. My doc was horrible and didn't even bother to tell me this fact.

Also, I've been told that to really stop smoking with Wellbutrin, you should also use patches to help with cravings while the medication take that month or so to kick in. But I'm not a doctor, but a doctor did tell me that, but i would check with your doc first anyway.

Seven years later and i'm still trying to quit smoking.
