I do acknowledge that there is little logic in emotion and at least for me emotion and underlying issues had a lot to do with my drinking. i don't know how you deal with that but I agree that it has to be a very personal and case specific approach. Sometimes like hypochondriac said..I get frustrated with all these things they want you to do in recovery.
