hello,
I was taking welbutrin for depression. bupropion ( the generic name ) the medication prescribed to help people stop smoking is called zyban. they are both the same. I found the side effect of the wellbutrin was it made me hypo manic and another medication had to be used for me.
Some drugs they have developed they have found also have other uses. for example I take a couple anti seizure medication for bi polar disorder that they have found also has uses a mood stabilizers
