I found this to be very true. I did not think I had any health issues, most I figured was due to getting older but I found once I was sober that many problems I did have went away. So one, I never contributed them to drinking or two, I never noticed them because I was drinking.

Friday night into Saturday I felt bad. No clue why. I was a little nauseous and I was really tired. In the past I would have tried to drink it away. Now I decided to rest, eat something and take a nap, which I never do, and by Saturday night I felt better.

I would have never listened to my body four months ago. I would have just drank through it. I would not have wanted to waste precious drinking time taking a nap.
