Welcome here. I think we all are an instant gradification kind of people.....it's the world we live in. We want it...and we want it now. Sugar is a sort of sitmulant and many use it as such, although not illegal, it does make us pay on our hips!!!! lol
Well, I have always found that just having a healthy well balanced diet and an exercise program will basically keep you from gaining to much. but if you are over doing on the sweets...sugar stuff, my thought would be to cut it back. Reach of better choices....like fruit (which will also give you energy) protiens....those energy bars help as will through the day. There are some really great tasting sugar free candies and cookies out there that can help also.
