Wow, I am so very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I do think I live in a right to work state, but we have the Family Medical Leave Act, which is why I have been allowed 12 weeks off with 1/2 pay to recover (get on meds and things), but my boss is out to fire me. He put an ad in the paper last week that he is looking to hire someone, full-time, for my position. I've starting calling attorneys and am waiting to hear back.
I'm hoping that if/when he fires me (which I feel is almost a definete) that I will have a leg to stand on.
