I haven't been in your position, but I have a family member who went to treatment and tried to move back into a house with an active addict. She didn't even stay clean for one day once she was back home. Not a single day.
I think it sounds like you are on the right track and are ready to get clean and stay clean. It will be nearly impossible to do if he stays on the scene. Additionally, addicts make really bad parents. I know, I had two of them. You're doing what you have to to ensure a better future for your kids, he's all talk and no action.
