I always congratulate people on their sobriety milestones. It's not hero worship or anything like that, it is simply a way to acknowledge the accomplishment
Kudos are nice now & then! When one goes from drunk, despair & destruction every day to living a peaceful, authentic life~I think that's pretty cool
