A few people have told me that a book is a much better investment of your time and money. It depends on personal view. When I think about it though, the people I know who read a lot are also the most successful and most well educated. The people I know who do little or no reading are usually struggling with money and are not well informed on many issues. Maybe that is not a common experience, but it appears there is a high correlation between people who do a lot of reading and are doing well. The people who don't read are usually drinking, smoking weed, playing xbox, and watching Jersey Shore. The people who are reading are working better jobs, come across as smarter, and have healthier personal relations. It also seems like they are not as easily manipulated and make better life decisions. Again...this is not in all cases, or meant to be some scientific research. It is just a generalized observation based on my experiences.
