You certainly sound like a caring parent to me, and how "fit" would any of us be under these circumstances?

I believe there are support groups for parents of autistic children (if this does end up being the diagnosis), and finding this group may help you share your burden and learn new skills at handling the safety issues and emotional wear-downs. I will see if I can find the website and will post it here for you.

You do not have to go through this alone. We are always here for you. MG is the more informed person here, but I will drop by to offer hugs and support.

You made the first big step by reaching out for help. And that is a wonderful start.
