Soberrecovery Movie Club

Borrowing from a thread started by JT (Soberrecovery Book Club), I thought it might be fun to start a movie club. Do you have a movie to share that has lifted your spirits, or spoken to you in some way? I watched a movie last night called "The Straight Story." It was the true story of a man in his 70s who, due to health reasons, can't drive any more. He gets the news that his estranged brother, who lives hundreds of miles away, is dying. Money is tight, so he hitches a trailer to his riding lawn mower and drives it to see his brother before he dies. It was a beautiful story and a wonderful example of love and selflessness and the kindness of strangers. Has anyone else seen it? I'd never even heard of it before. I don't know how easy it would be to find it at the video store, but it would be well worth the effort.

Anyone else care to share?
