When we do things like this, the gift we receive is as great as the gift we give. So often, just some little thing, a kind word, a few minutes of our time, a thoughtful gesture, will brighten the day for someone.
The movie "Pay It Forward" was about giving three times for each gift we receive. If someone is extra kind to me, I will be extra kind to three others, and each of them will be extra kind to three others...see how it escalates.
