| Morning Prayer for Sobriety
Higher Power, today I pray that you be my protection—
—my barrier, my shield, my armor, my bubble, my spiritual defense
against that first drink or drug, as I have no mental defense.
Please protect me from temptation, from triggers, cravings,
destructive urges and impulses, and
keep me clean, sober, and free from harming myself or others
all through the day 'til I go to bed tonight. AMEN!! |
