Hi, my name's Paul. I'm an alcoholic. It's been 6 months since my last... post :-) (and 19 months since my last drink)

And so yes, I FINALLY went to my first meeting. How refreshing the honesty! It was just as I imagined it would be: broken people admitting it and sharing excerpts from their journeys back to wholeness!

As a practicing Christian, how sad I am that Christians can't meet together with this same humility, brokenness and support! (instead, we are supposed to have it all together! ..what a joke and a lie. :-(

Well, I don't recognize most names here (A couple like Sugah). Thankfully Carol is still here :-)
