I go to a county mental health clinic (no insurance) for my psychiatrist, psychologist, and pharmacy needs. Well, my dr. got kicked out on short notice. Didn't even notify me...isn't that illegal?

Anyway, I got referred to a nurse practitioner in the building, but not until the 27th.

The point of all this is that I was on 300mg of seroquel daily and 1800 depakote, and I found all this out when I tried to call in for a refill. He didn't leave me any. They won't fill it at all until I see my new dr, who will probably keep me on the same meds because i can tolerate them at the moment....

So. Off of depaktoe and seroquel just like that. I ran out Sunday and I'm starting to get pretty wacked out now. I still need to wait a week to get more meds.

They told me to go to the ER with my scripts and they'll write me ones until my next appointment. The problem with that is the no insurance. Anything I fill at the clinic costs me $4. It's great since I'm on a very limited income. I can't afford to dish out over $200 bucks for a week's worth of seroquel and depakote, and the ER bill to boot.

They always tell me how dangerous it is if I go off my meds..and here I am without them. Why is thie S*** so ******* complicated sometimes!!!!
