A 'dry drunk'

This disease is called, alcohol-ISM, therefore the alcohol is but a symptom, once it has been removed the -ISMS remain, it is then necassary to enlarge your spirituality which will help to change your perspective on life and deal with those problems, that through alcohol and whatever substances we were addicted to the 'attachments' we formed whilst taking them!

Not as easy perhaps, as it sounds but for me, I have had to learn to live with my sobriety otherwise there is the danger of becoming a ,'dry drunk'. For me, the paragraph near the end of the the story entitled, 'The Key to the Kingdom', at p.275 that begins,'A.A. is not a plan for recovery that can be finished and done with. is very, very true as it goes on to say,'retrogression can mean death for us,' then what happens to the dogs?

I am very guilty of, if I am not vigilant,'letting things get on top of me' so that the 'problem' itself becomes a problem, which is ridiculous. I think you've done pretty good so far, wonderful, for me, the problem now is learning to live with my sobriety which wshen I consider what I was like 2 years ago is a lot better. Michael.
