SR has a chat fuction (which seems to disagree with my computer and so I haven't been able to use it). I only use the forums. But, if you want real-time chat, you can follow the chat option at the top of the screen and see if it works for you. Otherwise, you can post a question or your thoughts, etc. and others will be around to reply. The Substance Abuse forum gets much more activity, just an FYI.
