I think you said it best... she has to recover from the anger and hurt she suffered from your addiction. If she cannot do that... it may hinder the both of you to continue.
Is a seperation possible rather than a divorce?
Unfortunately, this is what happens with addiction. It tears families apart and this is a consequence you are probably learning while in recovery.
