I think its good news, things can go either way with him. But I believe this choice and his desire to succeed is a good one.
He also expressed last night that he feels good now with no desire to drink or use (Its always starts with a drink) but he realizes is he just takes the time and got out, he could feel differently so he wanted the restriction of being unable to use. His PD told me it is usually just random UAs but my husband asked to initialy get them weekly at random so he didnt get the idea he could beat it.
and a correction its moral reconition therapy...
Also he missed his son's first day of Kindergarden but will get to go to openhouse...(something he was usually to intoxicated to attend with the other boys)
cindi, i'm so happy things seem to be looking brighter for you and him. he has made some hard choices but i think its great that he's ready to be made accountable for his actions. its been a long time coming,HUH?
