the PHP code allows me to show examples of BB code without activating the BB code to show up in a post as below.

So you can cut and past, then highlight the text, then hit the
(wrapping the text in BB code, in this case the QUOTE tag) button, then add the equals symbol after the word: QUOTE, then the name. As shown at the top of this post by me using the PHP code to illustrate the example I'm talking about.
