There is something insane in the membrane coming into AA. I recall how miserable I felt that first meeting. I recall thinking, how will I ever have any fun again if, I can no longer drink?
How unmanageable has life become and still hold onto the old ideas of being able to drink again?

The debt of gratitude I have to AA can only be paid forward to the next person coming into the AA program to ensue my own happiness.
