I chewed until fairly recently myself...
I chewed for about 10 years and when I realized it was raising my blood pressure I just dropped it. I spent one day grumpy and three days hungry and that was it.
Every once in a while I miss the taste of the tobacco, especially in situations where I liked to pull off a plug... but it's a fleeting thought and never causes me to even think as far as going to get some chew.
Boy do I wish alcohol was that easy
