It is not un-natural to have insomnia for some time from withdrawal and even post acute withdrawal. There are a lot of things that can help. Exercise is the biggest followed by proper diet. Supplements help. 5-HTP and multivitamins help, especially B vitamins. Valerian root extract is an excellent herb to promote good sleep along with just a plain old glass of milk before bed. Some of the things that hurt are: smoking and caffiene. Unfortunately, it just takes time for normal sleep patterns to return.
