I originally thought that I was put into precipitated withdrawal when I started Suboxone the first time. However, I got sick the second time also and I knew with absolute certainty that it was not PW. Some people just get sick when we start the stuff. I've read it suggested that the sickness might be because the induction dose is too high. I have difficulty believing this explanation in light of the fact that I never got high during the induction and some who claim that they got quite high don't report that they got sick.

I couldn't reach my doctor for the first 24 hours of being sick. It was very frightening and frustrating. Hang in there, Chris. It gets better. Stick close to the boards so that we can encourage you.
