There can be withdrawal symptoms with bupropion/welbutron. It may include headaches and/or seizures, so, it is imperative that you do *not* attempt to stop taking this medication abruptly or without the advise of your doctor. That's the reason for the warning.

It's not "addictive" as in heroin, like you'll be jonesing for another dose. But, when I was on the wellbutron SR - once a day formula - I could always tell when I had to take my daily pill because I got a headach. My doc told me that meant I was experiencing withdrawal, and I would have to wean off it when I wanted to get off it. I did, and there was no problem.
