...and Wednesday I had this very recently sober, very butch young woman come into a meeting, and, boy, was she p*ssed! I asked her what was up, because I know she's been going to a lot of meetings, and doing really well, and I've never seen her so agitated.
Well, turns out some
pr*ck idiot guy had tried to 13th Step her in a meeting earlier that day. The conversation apparently had gone like this:
Him: "So, I hear you're one of "the girls."
Her: "Uh...what??????"
Him: "You know........a l-e-s-b-i-a-n!"
Her: "So what?........How could
that possibly be any of
your business?"
Him: "That's just too bad cuz you're pretty cute. I bet, if you slept with me, you'd never go back to girls."
Her: "Ya know what's even 'badder'? If I slept with you,
you'd never go back to girls either!"....and she walks away.
I thought she handled it perfectly!!!!!!
....but she was still pretty p*issed.
