First, I would suggest you get an appointment to see a professional to get a proper diagnosis. Tell them exactly what you posted here.

To me, it sounds like you might have some level of depression. The isolation, the empty feeling inside, that "ache". All sounds too familiar to me, and I know I have depression. I was just like you when I was working, at work I could function, laugh and have fun with co-workers, and as soon as I got home, bam all of the above would kick in.

I hope you find out what is wrong and get some help for it.
