It can block the effects of opiates in higher doses, but from experience I'll say that lower doses don't do the same job. Some people will still try using even if they're taking Methadone. Just something to keep in mind just in case. In the meantime, the fact that your bf is seeking help is a good thing. I wish both of you tons of luck.
