As someone who considers themselves as an non-theist...the whole deal of 'if or if there is or not a G*d' is irreverent to my life. I do the same with my addiction treatment. I do the the things that have relevance and consider very little those things that have no meaning to me. I've done enough meaningless things in addiction so I choose to seek meaning in my recovery. I find all the signification I need with a Buddhist perspective in general and recovery in specific.
