Hi Waterman,
I have a great deal of respect for Mennonites as well. I used to sort of look down upon them, but when I consider how badly I screwed up my life, I realize it's not my place to judge others.

For me it goes with almost any religious group. Who am I do look down on their way of life? If they've avoided some of the problems I've had, then they must be doing something right (ie. abstaining from alcohol & daily prayer). In sobriety, I have more in common with "religious folks" than I do with my old "party animal" friends.
