Howdy Pagekeeper.
I find a huge benefit to writing out a 10th step on a daily basis. I got lazy and was doing the mental overview of my day while lying (lying?) in bed, and spot check when needed. The problem with that is, I'm not always a great judge of 'when needed'. About a year ago I started to hear this other guy in my home group talk about the wonders of a dedicated 10th step. He made good sense. So, I made the simple change of doing it earlier in the evening when my motivation is there, and putting it on paper.
I don't know if it's just the schedule change, or the magic of putting it on paper, but it's been good for me. I'm clearing wreckage as it happens, and maybe more importantly, I'm seeing those defects in real time. It's become a daily 6,7,8,9,10,11 process. It doesn't take much time and I'm happier and more free.
So, yeah, I'll support and join you with this.
