Well, that is good and surprising I guess. OK, I haven't had any related charges since a DUI in 2002. That is 7 years ago. It ended up being a first offense misdemeanor. I would think by now, it wouldn't matter.
The reason I am worried is that I am being laid off soon from my job.
The job I am interested in applying for does a record check back to 7 years, and they say no criminal offenses. I have never had a felony charge though.
Of all people that have asked me out on a date, a friggin bartender! Tonight wanted to thank me for repairing his computer and asked me to go to dinner. He then expressed his complete interest in me.
There is no way in hell I am dating a bartender. Talk about a match made in heaven. I just need to think of a gentle way to tell him this.
