I have applied for one job since that happened, and I was upfront about it during the application process. It did not seem to be a problem. (I decided not to pursue the job, but I progressed through the interview process after telling them about it.) It helps that I have been sober for 22 months.

FightinIrish, I understand the anger issues while drinking. I have lost friends while in my cups, when an apology the next day just wasn't enough.
I also became belligerent during a previous DUI arrest. I refused to cooperate or take the alcohol test. Luckily, that disorderly charge was dropped.
