Frankie,

Like you, I am extremely ambitious and work approximately 70 hours per week. However, I am already a working professional and can't afford to go through withdrawal as it would affect my work performance.

I began at 24 mgs per day and a year later am down to 3 mgs per day. Next month, I am going down to 2 mgs per day. I will stabilize at this dose for a couple of months, and then proceed to 1 mg per day. After stabilizing, I will go down to 1 mg every other day. Then, 1 mg every three days. Then, .5 mg once a week on Sundays. It is my hope to see the .5 mg phased out naturally (i.e., I forget to take my medication and find that I no longer need it).

After speaking with many addicts who have successfully quit Suboxone (without relapse or unbearable withdrawal symptoms), it appears that this is the smartest way to terminate treatment.

Naturally, and without force.

Good luck! Keep us posted.

Cheers,
Sugar
