OMG!! That happens soooooo often!! In the last few years
at least five oldtimer women snatched up newcomer men as soon as they got out of treatment, jail or rehab. These women were all established (home, job, car, money) and they'd buy the men clothes, jewelry and move them into their homes. A couple of the men relapsed, the others (after getting a sponsor and doing some step work) began to learn who they were and moved on. One woman is notorious for picking up newcomers...she gets one or two every year.
