I'm sorry to hear that your husband isn't ready to stop yet. When he is ready, nothing will stop him- not an ill sponsor nor anything else -- will get in his way. Hopefully he will get tired of living this way and stop doing this to himself.
This life of loving someone who is active in their addiction or alcoholism can continue in such a destructive downward spiral taking innocent victims along for the ride. The trauma a grief are indescribable- as you already know, I'm sure.
I will pray for him, for you & the kids.
