I'm not much of a fan of diet pills. There are just so many scams and lots of ways to spend good money (they sure aren't cheap) for no results.
There is no quick fix, IMO and it sounds as if you are making changes that will help over time. I found keeping a food journal for a few weeks of everything I ate and the portion size really helped me to identify areas I could change. Drinking more water instead of snacking helped eliminate many empty calories. Turning my caloric intake upside down so I ate more earlier in the day and not at night helped a lot too.
If you do decide you really want to go the diet pill route, please talk it over with your doctor. Many so called natural products can have as many chemical interactions as prescribed drugs.
