Thumbs up One Day At A Time....

This has helped me in many ways beginning to live sober and continuing to live sober for 20 years now. If I would have had to think about living the way I was forever why would I want stay sober forever.

I went to AA every day for one year one day at a time & I did what was suggested to help me stay sober...work the steps...get a sponsor...& keep my ears open & mouth shut unless I had a burning desire to add to the topic for the meeting.

For me I used the Serenity Prayer many times a day after I learned how I could apply it to my daily life. I still use it to this day & it is such a freedom to be sober and be able to do what I want to do without the thought of drinking interfering with any activity or job. :ghug2
