That creeping crud has been running around here too. I smoke, DH quit two years ago and we both have it. We've been taking Mucinex during the day and I have Tessalon Perls (perscription only) at night. The Tessalon Perls numb the cough center. I cannot take liquid cough and cold meds. The taste/feeling whatever sets off my gag reflex anyway. My 7 year old has DXM syrup for at night and we've been giving her Mucinex during the day (per her doctor).
