She did her training on a Rebel and an Exciter, both 250's. I think she'd like something bigger though, we like to take weekend trips and day rides. She's been taking my 800 out for short rides and getting comfortable with it.

Kym, you hit the nail on the head. I've seen a pic of your bike before and I think it's what she has in mind. I bought her an '09 buyers guide (that might've been a mistake. Lol) and there was a review on this beauty 2009 DN-01 - Honda Powersports The price tag makes me want to faint though! We're both short in stature so the seat height on the DN-01 (27") would be much more sensible than the V-Strom (32")

OK, so it's time to get back to work on scraping up the money for one of these!
