Hi Nate. Thank you for reminding me what it was like. I think a lot of us felt the same at our first meeting, but for me, I just kept going back.

If you don't like the local meetings venture out. Not all meetings are the same. Don't judge AA as a whole by your first encounter. It has kept me sober and given me a life I never thought I would have. It's not been easy, but no one said it would be. However, it is a lot easier when you have the support of other recovering alcoholics.
