You mentioned BBQ so I have to mention Memphis in May. The first weekend of May is always the Beale St. Music Festival. A lot of great music for 3 days at a great price, but it *always* manages to rain that weekend so it turns into a big drunken mud fest! UGH. The 3rd weekend is the BBQ Festival/Contest. YUM but it's the most fun if you know someone with a tent and you can hang out there. The 4th weekend is Sunset Symphony.

I'm also looking forward to our local Greek Festival and Italian Festival. YUM YUM YUM.
