Just out of curiousity how did you come to AA?

For me it was a last resort, I was desperate, I had no answers and saw no solution, I went to a doctor, he sent me to detox, in detox they told me if I wanted a chance to stay sober to go to at least 90 AA meetings in 90 days & get a sponsor. AA was the only thing I saw as even a possible solution so I went.
