Actually, my point was more on the order of "You cannot win if you do not play." Yeah, I might
not win, and must be careful not to base my emotional sobriety on the outcome (especially about the lottery!
). However, if I don't fully participate in my life, my recovery, my relationships, etcetera - if I don't buy a ticket to my own game - then I have no
chance of winning.
