Joe - you're brilliant - 4 days!! Can't say I've done so well. I did 2 days, and then caved on Friday and Saturday. But so far, today is good. But it isn't even lunch time yet. AA meeting tonight, that will stop me doing anything silly.

Amy, the docs there say he will be in icu for a week and then a normal ward for another week. Over here, once you're off the ventilator, you're out!! Too few icu beds in England.

However, he is an awful patient, and I imagine he will be invited to leave well before then, lol!!

Poor you, hugging your Kleenex to sleep!!! I do think someone could make quite a bit of money designing something that you could shove up your nose, that would just absorb everything. Sounds disgusting, I know, but ... useful!!
