My AH wont leave either; it does suck. If you don't want to be there and can get out, do it. I'm not financially independent so I have to wait for some things to get into place before I can leave and it's taking a really long time!
I find if you know you should leave and you don't... (and you can't come up with a really good reason for staying) you become really sick (angry, bitter, ect...)
I know... I'm there...
