I tried to quit cold turkey once before and it didn't work, the fatigue was severe and i felt groggy and down. So i began this routine...
This worked for me:
1-Began tapering down on adderall (lowering dosage every two days).
2-Take B+ vitamin complex /w iron in the morning with breakfast
3-Run for 40 minutes on treadmill ( any exercise will help and create a natural high)
4-Occasionally i would try some yoga breathing (helps relax body and mind)
Yoga Breathing Exercises - Pranayama
5-Try not to look back, but forward and surround yourself with positive people.
6-Class/work/socialize<----Important (tackle anxiety issues by doing productive things during the day, less guilt when reality comes in to check)
7-Take 1 Melatonin (all natural/herbal sleep supplement) two hours before sleep - This helped me fall into a good sleep and feel more energized the next day.
After getting in this routine i felt better, looked better and it became my addiction( i didn't feel right without exercising etc etc)....probably not the best for all people but i'd like to point out that the body needs to be nurtured back to health... Starving your body of food and being sleep deprived while taking stimulants is very damaging to your heart.
feel free to PM me whenever if you need any advice, i didn't take as much as you...but i know the horrible feeling.
Good luck
