That is wonderful that you got out to visit with your father, and spend time playing with the kids. Those feelings of anxiety will not hurt you, they are just feelings as I've said before. The more you do it, the easier it will get. Learning breathing techniques is very helpful for when anxiety or panic strikes. You start your controlled breathing and the concentration you need to do your breathwork takes your mind of the anxiety and panic.
